We have just returned home from a weekend here and it was absolutely faultless. We stayed in The Hayloft and it had everything we could have needed. The property is beautifully finished and so clean! On arrival we had a lovely little welcome pack too which was a lovely touch. We travelled with our young son and it was ideal for a family. Samantha met us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!!

This was a last minute booking and what a lovely surprise. The property has been renovated by Sam and Andrew to an extremely high standard with beautiful furniture and fittings. The beds were really comfortable with lovely mattresses and quality bed linen. The outside BBQ area with its fairy lights, fireplace and BBQ was perfect for an evening celebration especially with the autumnal drop in temperature. Logs were chopped and readily available for both the inside and outside fireplaces. Our lovely hosts were extremely welcoming and arrived with new racquets and balls for the tennis court located just behind the property. Tideswell, with its 3 pubs, is about a mile away down the country lane and the nearby farm had a lovely coffee van with breakfast and lunch rolls and wraps. We will definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed our stay over new year here. Stunning cottage, spotless and exactly as shown on pictures. It’s a lovely place to just go and relax and is about a 25 minute walk to the nearest village, which has a couple of pubs. It’s in the middle of nowhere which worked for us. Great place for relaxation and doing nothing much!

We had an amazing stay in the Cowshed at the vicarage farm. The cottages were beautifully decorated and had all that you needed for the perfect weekend stay. The views from the barn were outstanding. The hosts were very friendly and on hand if we needed anything. Can't wait to stay again!

We hired all four cottages for a weekend with friends. The cottages are beautifully done and very well equipped. We loved the outdoor space with the lights, fireplace and firepit for cooler evenings, and the kids loved the climbing frame and tennis courts. Would highly recommend.

We spent a family weekend in three of the cottages for my birthday. The cottages are beautiful with everything you could ever need, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a barbecue and played tennis. The location is great, so quiet yet close to lots of places. Andrew and Samantha were helpful but not obtrusive. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. Thank you.

We recently had a lovely 4-night stay at Hope Cross Cottage. Friendly welcome from Andrew and we were thrilled to find milk, bread, butter, eggs (local) and coffee waiting for us. Everything was spotlessly clean. I use an electric powerchair and found the facilities excellent. Commode, shower chair, large well-adapted wet room, profiling bed, and lots of sockets for charging my chair and phone which were all at a useful height and lots of space. Views were fantastic and had lots to do, we’d love to go back, in fact, we will. Thanks again to Samantha and Andrew.

The Cowshed is super comfy and very stylish. Kitchen is very well equiped and there were eggs, butter, milk, shortbread and jams for us. 2 bathrooms, quality bedding, friendly host, we would happily recommend.

A lovely peaceful stay in an excellent holiday cottage - highly recommended all round Scored 1010 The cottage was well decorated, with all the right equipment. There was a food hamper left for us, with delicious food. The views were amazing and the outdoor equipment good quality. Loved the location and we did a good walk straight from the cottage. Owners were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for local pubs. We loved the peace and quiet but near enough to Tideswell for anything you need. It is quite secluded so you have to have a car. We loved it and will definitely be back

Delightful - would recommend for a family trip Scored 1010 Beautiful property which is well located for a walking holiday weekend. The cottage itself was beautiful and we loved the fact that we had the shared use of the tennis court and gazebo. We went for a family weekend away to celebrate my brother’s 30th and Samantha was great at helping us with any questions we had. We loved our stay and would recommend!

Gorgeous accommodation, great location. Scored 1010 Very clean and modern, the interior design was really well done & all the little details made a huge difference. The outdoor fire & BBQ are a lovely additional also. Having a large dining table in 3 bedroom property aloud 10 of us to all eat together which was amazing. The host was lovely, and had great communication throughout the stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend - highly recommend.
